  • POLICY ANALYSIS: Examining the impact of existing statute or proposed legislation on patients and the corporate sector

  • COALITION BUILDING: Working with diverse stakeholders to build alignment and drive progress on public policy issues

Patient Advocacy & Policymaker Education
  • STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Partnering with patient advocacy leaders to bring focus and deep strategic thinking to existing or new patient advocacy programs

  • PATIENT-FOCUSED DRUG DEVELOPMENT: Partnering with sponsors to develop strategies to bring the patient perspective into the clinical development process with the goal of identifying unmet medical needs, disease burden, and barriers to clinical trial participation. Organizing and leading FDA Patient Listening Sessions to raise awareness of disease burden and drug development challenges.  

  • POLICYMAKER EDUCATION: Working with patients to educate key government officials (e.g. Congress, FDA) on issues facing patient communities

  • R&D FUTURES: Working with R&D leaders to envision, articulate, and communicate bold research initiatives with transformative impacts on human health

  • PROPOSAL POSITIONING: Partnering with R&D leaders to ensure research proposals are positioned for success in a rapidly changing political environment

  • NON-DILUTIVE FUNDING: Enabling research-entities to obtain non-dilutive sources of government funding for cutting edge research with a focus on ARPA-H, NIH, & CIRM
